can anyone recommend a VPS service?

i'm looking to place SB and Sick Submitter on a VPS to allow me to scrape all day.

can anyone recommend a VPS service thats worked for them?

I've used ubservers and am very happy with them. Honestly I'd never heard of them until I came across a thread about them over at webhostingtalk forums.

Anyway, their Extreme Servers are dedicated and are the price some people charge for higher end VPS.

I use them primarily for scraping Google all day long and they are really fast and reliable. But not sure about the other tools you mention.

I will say when I switched from a VPS to one of their dedicated servers things REALLY sped up.

One thing to keep in mind with some VPS providers that support blackhat tools is that chances are you are sharing server resources with someone else killing the system with the same tools you want to use and things can really bog down.

Switching to a low end dedicated server could be worth the extra $20-$30 month.

xsserver is good.

I would also recommend arvixe albeit pricey.
