Can anyone recommend a proxy provider for a web service?

I'm making a web service that needs to scrape pages from online retail websites (such as Amazon) for part of it's functionality. Speed is very important for this service and I need to make a very high number of queries, so I think paying for private servers that are fast and dependable is the way to go.

There are tons of private proxy server providers out there, so it's difficult to decide who to go with, but based on what I've read on this forum and others I've found these two that look pretty good:

buyproxies
proxymesh

Does anyone have any experience with those providers, or have alternative recommendations?

I'm personally using http://buy.fineproxy.org/eng/ For my purposes (scraping, parsing, posting, bulk registrations) they are more than enough. I'm pretty sure that the owner of this service already has his thread here on BHW
