Hi guys

Its been almost a month now and t site still has not been indexed!

Can someone kindly put a link on thier site (PR4+) to force googlebot topick it up and hopefully index the bloody thing!

This of course will only be for a week and i'd be very very greatful and hit the thanks button!

I dont have any other site at the moment to do it myself.

many thanks in advance

Tony

You might try some bookmarking if you are having problems getting indexed. You can do it yourself of you can find .50 social bookmarking over in the BST section.

Is it a new domain or did you purchase if from somebody?I have never had a new one take a month but I have purchased a couple that seemed to be blacklisted and I had to cut my losses.

Yeah its a pain in the arse! I am thinking a high PR site will deffinatly force google to check my site. The worrying thing is that i have had googlebot crawl the site, just doesn't index it!

I bought the name from godaddy auctions. its not had a site on it for three years. surely any ban/blacklist would have dropped? and looking at the waybackmachine, it looked like a whitehat type of site.

Yeah seriously bookmark it on a few sites, then bookmark the accounts you bookmarked it on, then get a twitter widget on your site and tweet the URLS of each of the places you placed a link. Throw in a few RSS feeds for good measure and you should be golden :D (although if some kind soul is willing to slap a link up for you I guess you may as well go for that lol)

Oh, I had a simmilar experience to you buying off a Godaddy auction! 9-10 year old domain, hadn't been online since 2007, and it was in limbo for AAAAAGGGGGGGEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS, so much so that I was just going to call it a day and move onto something else, but it appeared eventually!
(The twitter widget thing seems to work pretty weel in my experience on new sites though, don't know why, but it's all I had going on it for a long time lol)

I've never had this problem before! Specialy when using wordpress (which is what i always use) its like they automaticly get indexed without doing anything lol

This one is on a wordpress theme but still nothing :(

A link on a high PR page would be total great!! :)

But i'll try the bookmarking sites now as we speak.

cheers mate, i'll try that too.

but of course any links would be welcome ;)

hmmmmm send me your site adress . i have a pr4 site i will place it for 1 week and also tell me your mail adress

oh thank you :) i'll pm you the details.

cheers

Just go get a handful of high pr comment links, get some .edu and .gov comment links, should fix you right up. Search the forum for a few sources to get you started

Join WF and put it in your sig. simple.
Great name by the way, very original.

than for the advice guys. still trying to get it indexed tho and tried most mthods suggested above :( I NEED A BACKLINK!! pretty pleae :):) it'll only be for a week!

done it :( still nothing.

Maybe you should actually start building decent links to it youself, things don't do themselves!

I have! profiles and blog comments. Still no index tho. Those types of links suck anyways.

If i can have one powerful PR4+ backlink for a week, and its still not indexed thn i'll know for sure is blacklisted and i can move on to something else. Thats all i'm asking.

I bet you need to add better content. If you write a 1000 word article that is completely original, not just a re spin that passes copyscape, it will get indexed. If it doesn't, the domain name is trash and you may have to file a re-inclusion request telling Google you are a new owner of the domain name.
