Hello everyone,

I am creating a new website for SEO practice but I am confused if my brand name have to match exactly with my domain. Like if I say my brand name is Jessi Tea Shop and my domain is Teashopbangladesh.com. is that okay? or do I have to exactly match my domain with my brand like jessiteashop.com

I need suggestion.

If you're serious about promoting the brand, then of course, it should be related to your domain name.

And if your brand name is unique, you should easily be able to register the exact brand name or a little tweak to make the domain name available.

But if the domain name matches the brand name, it will be more reasonable and better.
 
It's perfectly fine if your domain name doesn't exactly match your brand name. Many businesses use variations or keyword-rich domains to improve SEO and availability.
 
We can select domain name related to brand name which gives the trust to the users and improves search engines visibility.
 
Yes it is better to have the EMD when considering the branding and domain. Otherwise a lot of people will be confused to click your domain in the serp. Someone might be feared to get scammed.

An exact match isn't necessary ,have a different domain like teashopbangladesh.com for your brand, Jessi Tea Shop is perfectly fine. Just maintain consistent branding throughout your website and promotions.

It may help recognition a bit to have the domain and brand match exactly, but it’s not required.
