Can anyone help with an HTLM code?

Hi,

I am trying to create some "back" and "next" page buttons and I seem to be doing something wrong. Here are the button codes:

<a href="#" class="button"/>Back ◀</a>

<a href="#" class="button"/>Next ▶</a>

I have tried to add the needed code to perform the task but either I am not doing something right or it just isn't working...can anyone help?

in place of the # you need to add the location of your next and previous pages

if its a static website just put the page urls here, if its something more than this you will require javascript or php.

If you are stuck I would seek the help of a professional or do a crash course on academy.

The above users gave good advice.

I recommend going to http://www.codecademy.com/ and learning some HTML there. It's all interactive and made learning HTML quite enjoyable for me.

I strongly agree, its the best place to learn coding with fun. Interactive learning is the key.

Codecademy is great. I've also been taking HTML and CSS courses through Treehouse. Highly suggested. I've heard Code School is good too but I haven't personally used it.

+1 for codeacademy. However reading through the basic tutorials from w3c might help too.

Plus, please learn to google. Googling is usually much faster than posting your question in a forum. At least for such simple ones.

Treehouse is the best. I learned from there and has helped me sooo much. I even got a job offer 3 months after fully learning. Keep sticking to it. Codeacademy is good to understand further technical knowledge of languages. Have you looked into learning MEAN stack? It's worth looking into since I believe Javascript is going to become a much more important language in the coming years.
