Google is a very powerful thing, It is good that you reached out here for advice as well. Honestly, I feel like a lot of other members are going to tell you to use search. Or Google .. Or Youtube.
The key behind cracking into all that wonderful power Google has to offer is searching the correct things.
Running/creating a website takes a lot of time and hard work! You really need to apply yourself more and invest some of your motivation in some reading.

Youtube is your friend here as they are constantly reviewing what is new and exciting in their blogger format. Other than that, play with the gadgets that they have to offer and see what kind of a layout you can come up with. Some tricky stuff can be added to the blog by simply copying the code and pasting it into the html/javascript gadget. Using that technique will allow you to find cool 3rd party applications to add to your blog. Just copy the code and paste it into your html/javascript gadget and turn your blog into anything but ordinary.
hmm I should've been more clear... I have done a lot of reading but the things that I try aren't working for me and its so simple.. copy and pasting the html code and the custom css code and it still doesn't work. I'm a very dedicated student and I'm very driven by money and success meaning I will do whatever it takes to learn what I need to learn to be successful, I just wanted an outreach from a more experienced member.Google is a very powerful thing, It is good that you reached out here for advice as well. Thanks for the response I'm aware of that but the customs arent working for me.
