Can anyone get search results removed from Google?

I have a client that has negative articles written about him and appearing on Google.

I am currently in the process of burying them by creating positive articles to rank above the negative ones, but I would still prefer to have the negative ones removed if possible.

Please let me know if anyone can achieve this.

I don’t think theres any Such option. You can do lots of bad link and google will eventually through it out of 100th position

Manually reaching out to the one who published the negative articles is one way to go, if that's an option.
People tend to change their opinion if you make it worthwhile for them..

They are newspaper reports about an old criminal conviction, so unfortunately that won't work.
