Can anyone apply reverse SEO to defame this link?

I want to defame one link, one article that is on google 1st rank for the keyword " Minal Modi ".
the first link will be "thequint" website. That link.

I don't want this link to be on the 1st page of google.
Please suggest me any techniques or tricks to remove that link from 1st page.
