Can anybody help me to solve this DNS issue?

I got this notification from my affiliate, (i do 301 redirect)
on godaddy's DNS domain page, what will i write in the '' A-record '' and ''CNAME'' box? please help i couldn't understand what i should be writing in the a-record box and cname box.

IP Address for Domain Parking Changed


We have updated your domain settings. In order for your traffic to reach us correctly, the domain A-record must point at the IP address 193.**.202.238 and the CNAME, if in use, must be cname20.com. Please go to your Registrar's administrative interface and check these settings as soon as possible.

Yes we can help. You host your website on Godaddy or Just the domain name?

just the domain. im using 301 redirect for my affiliate link & my domain is registered on godaddy. but idk what im supposed to be typing in the CNAME box and A-Record box. a few days ago i entered the IP address that is written above in the A-record box and then i typed cname.com in the CNAME box but my domain showed me '' site under construction error'' so i don't understand what im supposed to be typing in those two boxes. (cname and a record)

and now im getting site under construction error after typing the IP address in the A-record box.
 
It looks like you probably have a plugin activated that puts your site under construction. What you should do is this:

Go to cPanel -> File manager -> PublicHtml of your domain -> wp-content -> plugins

Now try to find the Site Under Construction plugin or something like that. Then rename it to something else by adding "Old" or just any text. Save it. Now the plugin has been deactivated. Clear the browser cache and check your site in incognito mode to see if it loads correctly now.

no i don't have a hosting, i only do 301 redirect my domain to another domain.

Sorry, but your explanations aren't very good in the first place.

The DNS information of a domain directs the traffic to the server whose IP address is specified in the A-record.
CNAME records don't normally imply any IP address. It's for example to say the www of the domain should point to the root of the domain.

Now, you're talking of a 301 redirect. Where would this one be done? Probably on the server with the IP address entered in the A-Record, isn't it? That would come AFTER the DNS, and is quite irrelevant here. Is it the IP of this server which changes? Then the 301 redirect will continue as before.
 
Or you were doing a 301 redirect until now (The A-record of the DNS was pointing to a GoDaddy service which was doing the 301 redirect?), and going forward, you would point the domain directly to the server of the service you were previously redirecting to? Then just change the A-record, and if you get an error, see that with the people who gave you this IP to set up. The problem would be on their side, then.
