Hi

I am right now designing a e-commerce website for one of my client. In my side all computers are running in window xp. My client using Macintosh.

So some alignment problem occurs in website. As Macintosh operating system enabled computer is not in my side. I am facing problem while doing Macintosh compatible. So can any one tell me how i can do that from a window m/c.

Error i am getting like:

In a register form box, all text which will be fill up that is showing in the middle in window xp in all browsers like IE, FF, chrome, but in Macintosh , text showing top of that form box.

Well, you can use adobe browser lab service to test your site in all OSes, including Mac, it won't be dynamic test as if you were in the OS itself(natively) but will help you find the issue.

Another option is to use a virtual machine and install Mac for test. If you have a nice computer with enough memory and a processor that accept virtualization you can make use of it.

Actually, I never use virtualization to test my sites for Mac. Adobe Browser Lab works great for me. Let me tell you what I think , that maybe, is going wrong with your site, this might be something related to page layout, if you are making your site with float-based layout, you gotta make sure that everything is right. Remember that Windows XP is kinda old and obsolete, too, related to some Windows 7 and Mac, functionalities.

For experience, my sites when working fine on Win7 also do fine in all other OSes.

Windows Xp is a fragile OS, it gets corrupted easily, and other stuff, too, then requires more maintenance. If you don't know how to keep it running fine, it can display you incorrect data, that maybe your case, I guess.

Some rare and specific situations are needed to test sites in all OSes to really see how it will work. In general designs you don't.

As you can perceive, there are lots of options for you to find your issue.

Hope it helps.

Make sure you use proper html / css /js code and it will display correctly no matter the browser.

I 've seen differences between Chrome Win and Chrome Osx that should not exist, but on very rare cases.

Try using a tool like: https://browserlab.adobe.com/en-us/features.html

what browser? safari? do a search for browser compatibility and run ur url through some of the test sites

Browsercam.com is good. You can set up jobs to screenshot a site in all browsers/res/OS permutations or you can access their bank of test machines.
