Hi I made a youtube channel about 2-3 years ago and got 500 subscribers 100k views total and a lot of hours. But I didnt touch the channel in the last 2 years. Now should I start another one or can I just carry on with the old one? I m asking cause I saw on google that you need for menetizing 1k sub( and the all story) in 1 year. So it is over or can I get 1k subs now in 1 month and it will be fine? I dont rly get it...

Sure, you can continue on this channel. You'll have to wait 1k subscribers, and also 4k hours, in one year.
What's the niche of your old channel?

yes you can use your old channel

it's like a reset button but you can still use your old one just all the previous stats were not counted.

Yes, you can, but before that, you need to meet requirements with your Youtube account. Requirements:

  1. Need to have at least 1000 subscribers
  2. Need to have at least 4000 watch time hours
  3. Need to have at least 1 uploaded video these past 6 months
  4. Need to have an Adsense account created, so you will be able to use it when you meet all the other requirements
These are all requirements that you need to be able to monetize your Youtube account. So if you are not there yet, try to upload more frequently and share your videos on other social media for more exposure. I hope it helps and good luck!

it is one of the top 10 most profitable youtube niches.

It doesn't really matter much whether if you use the old channel or create a new one because you'll need to do the same amount of hard work with both of the channels to monitize them. I however recommend you start with the old channel as it has been aged and have some organic followers. Aged accounts perform slightly better than new accounts.

Yeah,..but hey! aged account is better as it will gain more tractions easily than newly created ones.
yes I knew that, this is why I made this post in the first place. Thank you
