Can a UK Amazon Affiliate promote US products? Please help!

Hey Guys,

I'm from the UK and therefore have signed up for a UK Amazon Associates account. But I am promoting US products, so I have found the products on the .com site, used the amazon short address and added my ID after the /tag=

Will this work and will I still be paid for selling US goods this way?

MASSIVE NOOB Question! But yeah please help

No, you need to sign up for US site and then use that ID. UK ID is only valid for promoting UK site products.

Sign up for the US Amazon Associates program.

Use a US-based webhost so you geotargetted aspect of a US based host.

Try to get as many (good) backlinks from US-based sources as you can. HubPages and Squidoo are two good places to start.
