can a permanently suspended reddit account be restored?

recently my accoount got suspended i dont know the reason and submitted a appeal but after reading all the replies should i lose hope or be optimistic

In my experience, an account that has been permanently suspended is unlikely to be restored.

Have you already tried submitting an appeal to their support?

I recently came across a few discussions about reddit account suspensions and was curious about how permanent suspensions work.

for those who have gone through this process , is it actually possible to restore a permanently suspended reddit account?

it depends, and they rarely unban in general. since they use AI moderation to mask false positive bans, so they dont have to deal with most appeals. rarely they get unbanned because "an error on thier part" and it apparently has to be on the 1st account that was banned, trying to appeal other accounts wont work.

even mistaken bans may not get restored, i suspect its likely intended for the most part due to reddit becoming public.

I’ve had many accounts permanently suspended, and I was never able to get them reinstated.

You can ask for an appeal through the support. It may or may not work.

In most cases, no. Once Reddit marks it as permanently suspended, it’s basically final. Appeals only work if it was clearly a mistake or automated enforcement. Otherwise, people usually just move on and start fresh with better account behavior.

I was never able to recover my reddit account, talking to support is like talking to a wall tbh

It’s usually not worth bothering trying to get the account back, their support is next to non existent and you’ll be chasing copy/paste replies. Create a new acc and spend that time and energy that way.

It's possible, but rare. You can file a formal appeal through the standard Reddit appeal page. If it was a system mistake or a false positive for spam, they might reverse it. But if you actually violated their terms, don't waste your time—just clear your cookies, change your IP, and start a new account.

I've had several accounts permanently suspended, and unfortunately, I was never able to get any of them reinstated.

Sometimes but its rare if the suspension was a mistake an appeal can work otherwise permanent suspensions are usually final

However, it is allowed if the suspension has been done mistakenly and your appeal has been approved.

reddit is not known for maintaining accounts long term. The platform is well known for banning accounts randomly. i dont think anyone seriously tries to build a massive presence on the platform since it is averse to self-promotion. If you get banned just start a new one and forget about it

I have double digit accounts 5 years +

What i will say though.. active accounts for that many years... rare

I know there's people from reddit here in this group that stalk , dox, and ban any accounts they can find.

Also there's a user here that do stupid shit like waste his time trying to get you banned if he can't control you (Weird but true)

But i find having valuable content gets around most everything
