Can a ga, ml,tk site make it to page no1?

Is it possible for . ga, . ml etc (for usage in Ghana, Mali and others) site to go on the 1st page of search engines? I am using english, added href Lang tags ,Still, Gwt does not recognise these.
Searching in search engine for . tk, . td, . ml, . ga sites is also a hard work. Anyone know more on this topic?
PS I cannot get a . co m domain at the moment, so I would be pleased to get answers for the exact question if it is possible. Thank you!

any domain extention is Possible to rank on google
 
but if i am in the same niche with . co m domain, isnt my site gonna be ranked lower than the . co m cousin because of the location
 
Sure i will and mabye I am in SEO Paranoia, sicnce this is my first try to rank a site :D but I haven't seen ranked . ml domains and I wonder if I should leave this project until I get . co m domain or mabye stick with it. I dunno :/

Only in Ghana lol. Those foreign domains RARELY rank at all outside their national boundaries.
 
The domain extension is "suppose" to not affect, but of course if you are not "mega" for sure people will click in a .com first.
 
You can't expect country level domains to do wonders, It happens very rarely.
If you can't find a .com look for other TLD.
 
Theoretically any tld can make it to the first page however, nothing beats popular top level extensions.
 
.tk spammy stay away from it I already wasted my time on . tk domain . I use it when I was noob after year I ranked for none of my KW's

Great Answers! I will surely leave these domains. Mabye will use for developement only. BTW I now remember, that someone once told me these domains are widely used for ni gerian scams etc. Goglel sure knows that too and I believe all of these domains are blacklisted.. Sc ams, noobs, spam etc all the shix stuff is on there. :D me too
