I have a Tenvis camera setup.
It is streaming using
The streaming out is set up using third party DDNS http://freedns.afraid.org in the camera setting but im sure its not using this
On freedns site i have a subdomain setup that forwards to my external IP and this way ive setup camera recording using third party site.
It works but I have a problem
The problem is my external IP changes now and again by itself, sometimes on router update. So when the IP changes the camera feed recording stops as it cant find the camera feed on that IP.
The solutions for me are to make the external IP static... but I rang Three and they said they cant do this. I rang the router manufacturer and they said ring Three.
The other solution I use is to change my external IP, set of freedns on the subdomain . But i have to keep manually doing this and only if im at home. If im out the house and the external IP changes i cant then fix the issue as I dont know what the new IP address is.
Can anyone suggest anything?
