Calling all UK CLICKBANKERS!!!

Hey all.

I'm about ready to have my first cheque/ check sent from clickbank and wanted to know what is the best way to cash it? I used to live over in the US and had to cash a taxback cheque at my local Santander (abbey national) and I remember them charging me quite a fair bit.

I wish there was a way to pay me through PayPal.

What are your suggestions? Thanks for your help.

EDIT* I have a bank account.

Do you not have a bank account ?

If not you can cash cheques at cash converters or any other pawn shop type operations.

Even if you don't want a bank account you should look into a post office or building society account.

Natwest seem pretty good to me. Even if you can get a lower cheque fee then you have to look at what exchange rate they give you. In the end that can just be too time consuming. They are all going to be around the same I would imagine.

Yeah you're right. I can see how it could become quite time consuming. I'm sure a Google search would sort it out, I just knew you guys from BHW would know right away. Thanks for the help.

My first check was banked with Santander last yr cant remember the fee but it pissed me of paying it so i contacted Clickbank now they pay straight into my account, so shoot them an email and they will sort it.

There are plenty of companies that offer middle-man services in terms of recieving checks/deposits at US banks with ability to release anyplace you want. ePayService is a an example. Check them out.

Thanks a lot everyone. I have one other small question. I know that first cheque has to be over $100, but then does every cheque after that have to be over $100 or can I cash out under?

Wait till its about 300 or even 500 for your first check, you'll get peanuts for your 100.

It doesn't have to be $100 - go to this page (replace xxxx with your username) and you can change the payment threshold: https://xxxx.accounts.clickbank.com/account/profileEdit.htm?action=payment

Huh really,can you get paid at once you reach your threshold, I have over $100 in my account it still says

"CDR-- Account had not yet met Customer Distribution Requirement. Click here for text of the CDR as contained in our accounting policy. Paid balance delivery begins on the "Date Sent" date."

From my understanding don't you need to get at least 5 card transactions,excluding paypal payments before you can get paid?.
