Calling All Product Creators/Owners - Please Read

Hey Everyone:

It seems that lately, quite a number of members' products (ebooks, etc.) have been accidently shared in the Member's Downloads section.

If you are the owner/creator of a product, please add your product to this thread ASAP. Even if it is already on the Do Not Share List.

You must also be ready to provide proof (not publicly, but privately, if necessary) that the product is indeed yours. We will then update the Do Not Share List Accordingly.

It must be emphasized at this time that it is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT that if you are planning to post a download link, that you check the DO NOT SHARE list each time beforehand, since it is updated frequently.

That is about all I can think of at this time.

If anyone has a better idea on for a system that would make this work more efficiently, please post your suggestion(s) on this thread, and it will be taken into consideration

I think if they don't want to add it on the DNS list and it is genuinely shared without the knowledge that it belongs to a member here then the publisher shouldn't be punished - and you should take action only when it is reported and they provide the necessary proofs. If they can't make the effort why should you? I'm sure you're doing a good job already!

I'd just like to add that just because you're a member here you're not entitled to the DNS list. As a member of this forum, you are entitled to have any of your items shared here removed upon request. However, when it comes to the DNS list, we will take your join date & post count into consideration. If we let every single person who joins this forum for the sole purpose of adding their stuff to the DNS list, the list would be 1,000 items strong. Good luck sorting through that. If you're new here and you have an item selling somewhere else that you dont want shared here, it is YOUR responsibility to scan the forum for it and send any links to a member of the staff for removal. We will remove it for you, once you can prove the product is indeed yours.

In short, we look out for our members, but the DNS list is a priviledge given only to real members.
