Called out on Reddit adult posting

So just using Reddit and posted to quite a few relevant subs. User called me out for doing it and saying it was an advert (obviously was). What do you do if this happens? I deleted the post but the full post history is easily accessible.

What do you guys do when promoting adult on your Reddit account?
 
Advertise on BHW
Make it look like you are providing content for free. What are u promoting exactly an offer or your tube site?

Try to provide content then use that paysite.Maybe create a website where u put some videos that members may be interested in and watermark the vids with the link into your paysite that way it don't look like u just advertising on their sub
 
Good idea. At the moment it’s going to my site which has blog posts with content they may like but the direct link I’m using is a landing page. The content wasn’t converting very well compared to the landing page.

Try to optimize that blog and i'm sure u will make it work somehow. Good luck :)
 
The rule of thumb is 1 Post with your link for every 10 non-promotional posts or comments, it's a very simple rule and if you cannot follow it you better use a different platform to promote your links
 
FUCK them you can do it just like that, and let the fucker say whatever he wants, do your work, worst scenario your link will be deleted
 
Nothing don’t contest it, lie low for few days buy some karma and restart again don’t target those subs but and delete promotional links so no one knows it was you

Not that true. you will most likely get perma banned too from all those subs. than if you dont mind for the account itself and have plenty "aged with karma" accounts, than your good.

But if its a branded or personal account, you will get banned quite quickly, out of all of the relevant big subs.

See in the screenshot the mod says: Its spam and you know it was spam.

My post had valuable content, which is not only unique but also included a professional point of view, and offered the sub users FREE review orders. - they only SMELL a product related thread, and its SPAM.

You need to understand the demographic of Reddit.

It's a fraternity of internet savy incel losers who spend all day on the internet because they have no lives. They'll try to find adult content for free before they will ever pay for it. Thats the type of idiots you're dealing with. So yeah, good luck converting that.
 
Everyone who replied so far is right dude, Reddit is a Gold mine but only if you know how to target a crowd that smells marketers from miles away. It depends what your niche is but 99% of the time the content you link to, has to be free. You can convert on some of the users but 80% use adblock and they have general idea of how we make money from less vigilant internet users. Especialy adult niche, its some what easy to get the traffic if you provide free n subreddit related content. I have been using reddit for Adult and had great success but only to market the brand providing free relevant content linking only when asked for source. Now every subreddit that I advertised on has got houndreds of links of other users providing links from my site when someone asks for source.
 
Put your efforts somewhere else and i am sure offers going to convert better. Reddit requires too much effort if you are fairly new in the reddit market. Reddit users are fuarking smarrttttttt! :suspicious:

Mix up the posts with non-commercial ones. Reddit users are pretty good at seeing if you're promoting something or not.
 
You just need to to overdo that,self promotion is not welcome in Reddit,so you should do it in a way not to be caught .
 
You guys are absolutely right. While posting on Reddit I've seen a huge spike in traffic so I'll post more long clips embedded from tube sites then put advertising around them. Then slip the affiliate offers in blog posts too.

Does that sound that would work better?
