    Does anyone know how to call the C.P.A.Lead script from another file in html?

    So say I have my page.html and I want to include a script in that page.html to include my c.p.a.lead script from another file. I've found a few sources on the net talking about it, but I've tried it a few times and I can't get it figured out.

    I include a <SCRIPT SRC="http://mysite.com/gateway.js"></SCRIPT> in the <head> tags of my page.html. Then in my gateway.js I copy and paste the c.p.a.lead gateway code:

    Code:
    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.**************.com/mygateway.php?pub=13343&gateid=MTEwODI%3D"></script>
    However, in my page.html file it's not pulling my script from gateway.js file. I'm not to savvy with Javascript, so if anyone knows how to do this, that would be great.

    Thanks!

    Haha, I was expecting that to be my first reply.

    For me, I get great EPC's with C.P.A.lead. Around $0.30-$0.40. I know you can get a lot higher EPC's with BHCB, trust me, I used to use it. But it's hit or miss whether you're going to get paid out by networks. I'd rather have the assurance that I'm going to get paid with c.p.a.lead than *hope* i'm going to get paid with BHCB.

    Now if you know of some networks that have really high EPC incent offers, tell them to me, because I've searched in the past and couldn't find much.

    Plus the fact that c.p.a.lead will geo-target for me is great. But anyways, I got a little off topic there.

    Thanks for the suggestion, but if anyone has any ideas about my OP, I'd love to hear them.

    yes, and he can expect 10x more work searching for offers and not having geotargeting and that way losing leads.

    i hate when ppl speak bad just because everybody else does and don't even see the whole picture.

    plus the OP is right, why to risk not getting paid?

    you continue to use your methods and let others use what they want.

    in the other day, i saw someone saying adscendmedia was a lot better...

    i registered and took a look at their offers and honnestly, they miss a lot of countries there. plus they pay less in the same offers... what's better in them? i'm yet to see. maybe i'll use them one week and compare the revenue. then i'll get back in that thread and show my results to that smart ass.

    and sorry if i hijacked your thread.

    but so you can excuse me for real i'll give you the answer.

    use .htaccess to make the server parse your html files as php and use one include statement to insert the widget.

    code to include in the .htaccess file
    Code:
    AddType application/x-httpd-php .html .htm
    use
    Code:
    <?php include ("yourgateway.html"); ?>
    yourgateway.html will have
    Code:
    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.**************.com/mygateway.php?pub=*****&gateid=*******"></script>
    in it

    btw, delete you publisher ID from your code in the post you made ;)

    or you can try this

    insert this code in your gateway.js and insert the file cp4l3ad src url in the correct place

    Code:
    function dhtmlLoadScript(url)
    {
       var e = document.createElement("script");
       e.src = url;
       e.type="text/javascript";
       document.getElementsByTagName("head")[0].appendChild(e);
    }

    onload = function()
    {
       dhtmlLoadScript("http://www.**************.com/mygateway.php?pub=*****&gateid=*******");
    }
    or this one here, but with this one you really need to call the script in between the head tags

    Code:
    function staticLoadScript(url)
    {
       document.write('<script src="', url, '"  type="text/JavaScript"><\/script>');
    }

    staticLoadScript("http://www.**************.com/mygateway.php?pub=*****&gateid=*******");

    these js solutions i don't know if they work cause i never tryed it.

    but hey, maybe you don't need this, they give you one file so you can download and run it from your server, thus removing all references to their domain name in your source code to trick those blockers.

    Thank you so much for you answer, and I completely agree with your point about BHCB haha, and I've tested Adscend Media a little and imo they such pretty bad, terrible horrible EPC with them.

    Anyways, I've heard about people editing .htaccess file, but I had no clue where to go about doing this, so thanks for shedding the light on that!!

    Thanks and +rep given :D
