i learn CakePHP from the manual to create simple document tracking system.U can find their manual,example,blogs,documentation or forum on google.CakePHP is one of PHP framework that use MVC concept (Model,View,Controller).Its just basic concept but cool feature to be implement on PHP where there is no framework available at that time.The concept same as SAP which is 3 tier as well.Models hold your data process,Views hold your interface and Controller hold your action process.
