I just bought Caffeinated Content tonight for Wordpress.

I believe I have it setup correctly but whenever I try and run it I get this error:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

My websites/blogs are hosted on DreamHost

Whenever I get that error it usually has to do with restrictions in the .htaccess file.

Try posting with less content. I think the default amount is 50 posts. Put just 10 or 15 in there instead and see how it works with that.

I had this problem anytime I tried to post a lot at once. I was trying for 100-200 posts at a time. Now I do 20 at a time and just run it a few times.

What happens with this error is the wordpress cron.php script hangs and causes you to hit the maximum process limit. I have Hostgator and the max is 25, not sure what dreamhost is.

If you still get the error when trying with with less content, you can contact dreamhost and they'll kill the processes for you.

Are you using this on a subdomain? cause it has this problem more on subs...

nope not a subdomain...

I moved it down to only 2 posts...still no go.

suppose i will have to contact dreamhost then

You should have an individual error logfile for your domain. Find out where it is and monitor it.

Why don't you contact the author? It would be much easier :)
For me it worked without any problem, although the sites created with it tend to don't even get indexed :|

I have about 40 to 50 sites created with this and only use them to look like a legit site for AM's. All of them are indexed with 100's of pages.
A funny side effect since I don't get much traffic from the search engines. Just a couple a week so I guess they don't rank high.

i believe it's an issue of hosting.. I read up and the author actually don't recommend dreamhost for his plug-in

does anyone know of a resolution to this issue?

I would contact both your hosting company as well as the maker of the plugin. I have been using CC now for over a year and it is the best out there, there support are also great and they treat you like a human not a number
