I came across this after I had problems with CC and needed something to get articles with. So I just sent the guy an email and got a prompt reply

I love it. I think it cost $35 or something like that.

and the articles are top notch and the plugin can rewrite them as well..

The new one - Ultimate Content Fetcher works great for pulling long articles (which is broken on CC). It's a nice supplement for CC which is still pulling Yahoo Answers and YouTube for me (and the new one does not do these yet). There is a re-write feature based on translating and translating back - but no ability to translate INTO another language (like there is in CC). This would be a nice addition.

It still works at my end but what I noticed is that it's picky on hosting.

Have a couple of hosting accounts and on 2 of them it's not working. Probably because of some server settings.

I do not use large numbers in one run (like 10 to 20).
Avoid hammering YT, AB or YA.

Well I have used v337 but that also not working.I have tried few minutes ago.That's also not working.
It is showing I posted 0 items for XXXXX keywords

Did a little test run just now to check if any
of the sources are causing the trouble.

CC 3.37
WP 2.71

KW: dog
YA: 10 posts
YT: 10 vids
AB: 10 articles

KW: real estate
YA: 10 posts
YT: 10 vids
AB: 10 articles

All sources delivered 10 items for each keyword.

Hosting used on this one is

Guys, any chance for a re-upload?. Just checked out and the Rapidshare link is not working. Dead.
 
This is a wild thought, but Being a programmer, learning cURL (a way some of these plugins pull content) some of these plugins have hit up certain sources so many times, either articlesbase had decided to block the ips that constantly hammer their resources.

I cannot see them banning cURL being an issue, because if you have a user agent and the regular cURL scenarios, they can read a page just like any browser.

What I think is going to be needed to be done, is the usage of adding a curl_setopt parameter for HTTP proxies, either found from some search site such as samair and/or have an area in the management panel where proxy ip's can be used defined if they have any.

My two cents

I would of been happy to modify the code to my liking, but unfortunately, I have not learned the deal with base64 encoding, as most plugin publishers just LOVE to use base64encode so nobody would even think of modding or stealing their code.
 
CC in my site not working put article, not result. but put you tube its ok.. why?
 
My research....

I have actually looked into another articlesbase content fetcher, which I will leave unnamed..

The problem with pulling content articles is not the software, but Articlesbase.com...

I used the method, which btw is not cURL to pull a page from their website. I would end up with a long delay and at the end, a bad timeout error would show up.

Articlesbase is either blocking ips, or not letting non-browser sources download website content. Maybe instead of using their current method, if they used cURL which could easily pull in a faked "user agent" and add a proxy to the curl_setopt, they wouldn't have this problem to begin with.

My two cents again!


EDIT: Hmm, tried using cURL to pull content with a User Agent and a proxy, and my result would come up as empty. hmm, makes me think that Articlesbase is really sealing things up with content fetching. They are just going to have to find another content source at this point.

I am using hostgator and I am using 2 keywords not more.Then also it showing me 0 results.
 
I was able to get AB to work with 3.37 but not YA. There is a version of 3.35 that is working going around. Finally there is a Caffeinated World add on to CC that is working but ends up adding another $67 to the cost!
 
OMG CC doesnt work and is dead.. He stopped work on it and gave it up...
if you read the whole thread you will find that lots are now using UCF
 
so what is this. the latest version nulled...
some explanation would help users decide to get it or not
 
Oh fuck yeah. I saw this 3 months ago and forgot about it, then it took me 2 weeks to remember the name of plugin, plus 30min now to find it.

Fuck yeah, I'm gonna put my 20 or so domains to use now :)
