Caching ranked Domains

Did any one now is it possible to find domains that are expired but still ranked top10 in google? I ask because I want to try finding dropped domains keywords in majestic SEO API and them check if some of them are ranked in top10 and have nice search volume and if so catch them and rebuild website so I get instant ranked site. But when Google see that site is not available it can drop them in rankings I now it can return lather but there is no way knowing if it was in top10. So my question is, is it possible to find one that is still in top10? To check that my self I would need to buy majestic SEO plan for 400$ and this is a little to expensive for experiment. If it works it is worth that but 400$ flash in toilet is a little to much for me.

i dont think someone will drop domain like this

but you can always try to find one by their backlinks (check how much backlinks the domain have and if its ranking for somekind of keyword)

Expired domains which rank top 10 in Google. So you're asking for a free goldmine?

No I ask if this is posible. I don't ask abut concrete domains names.

Catching....Ok.. Your chances of catching those are, for the most part, impossible. Everyone is looking for dropped domains. Domains like that don't drop often, when they do, they are snatched up long before most of us would see them.
