    Greetings fellow BH's.

I'm going to move some sites over to seohosting and my question has to do with how the big G will treat my sites since they'll have a new C-Class IP address. I'm just a bit worried that there might be some type of negative to doing this with established sites.

Another question, when I create new C-Class sites, is it best to have one site per C-Class IP or can I have a few on the IP? If I can have a few, what's the magic number of sites per C-Class IP?

    Thanks in advance. :)

You can have as many sites on a single IP but for interlinking purposes it is best to not have more than a few. If you have lots of sites on the same IP linking to each other the worth of those links will be lower than if they were on the same IP.

The penalty for same IP interlinking is not as bad as you would think, a competitor of mine has about 15 sites on one server and he has used those sites to propell one of his local based sites past one of mine lol, aint that a bitch.

I wouldn't think you would get punished too bad for moving server and therefore changing your website's IP, websites do this all the time. So long as the domain still belongs to you and the content change you should only see a very temporary drop in traffic before it gets back to the level it originally was.

This is still debatable and people have different opinions and Ill give you mine.

Its NOT ideal to move a well established site to SEOHosting for the sake of SEO. There can be some impacts(though not necessarily apply to all) with regards to its stature especially if the site is PR3 and above. The wisest and safest thing to do is LET YOU MONEY SITES(established) REMAIN WHERE THEY ARE.

Use SEOHosting to build the mirror and doorway sites going to your money site.

If you have 10 different niches or themes and you have 5 Class C IPs, host 2 different niches on 1 C Class
