Bypassing School Security?

I need to get to RapidShare, so I can download a file that I have sent to my self LOL

... School blocks like .. all the sites
hidemyass.com, etc

.. How do I get to RapidShare

are you trying to get access to these sites via a school computer or via an own laptop? if it is your own laptop but you're just using the schools internet connection, you can try it with TOR (the onion router, google it).

If you don't mind doing some hacking then do this:

right click on desktop new text file.

Type this:

command.com

then file > save as "anynamehere.bat"

now open this .bat file

Then you should have cmd.exe running and you should be able to close down any security that is running on the pc and you then should be able to connect to a proxy ip address then you have access.

I tried this, the system admin was alerted via e-mail of a security breach, and I was caught and suspended for three days. I went to a high school of 200, so you can guess the non-lenient repercussions of doing this at a larger institution.

If you want a command prompt, command.com is not the way to do it. Look into this: winasm.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=385

If you want proxies to get onto rapidshare etc, just buy a domain and set up any one of the number of free proxy servers, like zelune, phproxy, cgiproxy, etc etc.

Turn it into a money making opportunity.

Sell access to it to members of your school, lock it with DLGuard or another membership script and they can pay you in cash

It sounds like web traffic could be filtered by a firewall / ACL ruleset.
Try to use vpn or bring the file on a usb key

here's how you do it

google "ultrasurf softpedia"

(most schools have not blocked softpedia)

Download ultrasurf, open the zip, and run it. Voila!
