So this may sound like a stupid question but i feel i need to ask it,

I need to bypass some onchain KYC (im using it as an experimental feature),
So what i need to do is sort out kyc but the website requires me to sign in with my wallet (metamask or any other wallet), which is fine but if i pay someone for kyc, I do not want that person i pay to have any access to my wallet.

So is there a way i can sign in with my wallet, then let the person who is going to bypass kyc (by scanning id), and ensure same person can not reveal private key/seedphrase on wallet?

maybe a VPS would work ?

It's not a stupid question at all, and it's actually a pretty important consideration for privacy and security when dealing with on-chain KYC and wallet sign-ins.
If you're using your wallet (like MetaMask) to sign in to a website but don't want to give the person you're paying access to your private key or seed phrase, you must take steps to ensure that your private information remains secure.

For security, use a new MetaMask wallet that you don’t mind sharing temporarily for KYC, and never share your private key/seed phrase. A VPS can help isolate the process, but never share private keys or seed phrases with anyone. Always ensure you are only granting the minimum permissions required.

Hold up… since when does Metamask need KYC? Did I miss an update or are you using some secret KYC-enabled version of it?

maybe you can ask them to login to your wallet, when it's empty then after that you can banish them and change the security and start to filling up the wallet.
