I have a site which offers some big download, like 100mb+.
Hosting the file on my site would cost me a lot of bandwidth.
So I always linked the downloads to mediafire, but IMO it made my site look rather cheap as the visitor had to go off site to download the file and endure the popups from Mediafire.
Then I realized you could bypass Mediafire and their annoying popups by simple going to the MF download page, right clicking on "start your download"' and copying the link location.
I linked all my products to the direct download link and my visitors now can download them directly from my site without hastle.
I can't believe I've made a post about this since it is stupidly basic but it doesn't seem like anybody else has clocked on.
If your posting downloads in this forum you can use this trick too, it saves us from goin off site to download them.
tarahhhh
