Hey guys,

what's the best way to reupload already published videos tricking YT into thinking it's fresh new content?

I tried applying heavy filters that alter a lot the shades of color and speeding up the vids to 110-115%, flip horizontally the visual and even changing completely the soundtrack of the video, but still YT recognize them as a duplicate.

Any tips?

I've heard something about inserting a few color pixels at strategic places, but I don't know if it works.

Back in the day probably that was enough, but right now I don't think it's the case, otherwise the filters I tested should've done the trick :bounce:

Thanks for chiming in tho

recapture it using smartphone camera, but the quality of the video will be reduced slightly.

i'm using video spin blaster, it will generate unlimited undetected copies of your videos is seconds

Is there something embedded in the video metadata that triggers the duplicate filter, perhaps?

PM me, and I'll shoot you a way to get this done.

This is just no way to conduct yourself on the forum HorusBlack. If you have the answers the OP seeks, you can clearly see that many others in the thread are also seeking these answers. This is a board of like-minded webmasters who freely share answers in response to these types of questions.

Why not simply share your two approaches directly here? Frankly you won't be revealing a big secret since there are approximately 50-75 other threads on BHW related to this exact topic where the answers are actually located to this question already. Common approaches include using filters, changing MD5 hashtags, eliminating ALL Meta-data(sometimes, but not the best tact since youtube can use the meta data). However, sometimes directly editing any adverse meta-data can eliminate some identifying factors.

HorusBlack - I hope you will consider actually sharing your solutions rather than phishing for PMs. It kind of makes it look like you are intending to somehow sell a solution to the OP instead of just helping.

Do you really know any solutions there guy, and if so, care to share with the rest of BHW? There's no reason to solicit PMs in this nature in my opinion when it would take you about 1 minute to list the solutions. Beyond that folks, I would suggest that the answer to this question is already present on BHW, and that the search function can go a long way to getting you back on track for uploading videos to youtube.

PM me, and I'll show you how to use the search function OP. <- Sarcasm. I'm sure you all know how to use it. :)

To my knowledge and understanding as others have pointed out above - videospinblaster is one solution that is definitely working. If you can't pay for the software, it might help to find some information about what exactly the software does in order to achieve video uniqueness. If you can't buy the solution, maybe you can decompile a workaround based on the information pursuant to HOW videospinblaster makes all these videos unique. Overall though I'm confident it uses a mix of filters, speeding up and slowing down the audio track in different places, adding some strategic "blotlike" splatter on the video, and altering the MD5 hashtag. You may wish to either buy it since it is a working solution, or implement whatever you can learn about its overall functions.

Good luck OP!

For what I tried, the best way is to make video in different width and height or make it on different type of file like (avi, mp4, mkv, etc) and cut the video like 1 second so time frame is not the same because this filters they detect by timeframe, aspect ratio, height, width, type of file, date of video creation those are the main factors they use to find duplicates so, if you modify this values it should work.

That is a well articulated solution, and one I can confirm works easily most of the time. I have used it on many video projects both for youtube and other endeavors to make large quantities of videos unique.
