Bye Bye 'Cookie-Free Domain'

To cut a long story short, Cloudflare is deprecating the __cfduid cookie. Starting on 10 May 2021, and they will stop adding a “Set-Cookie” header on all HTTP responses.

One less headache for webmasters!

Time will only tell if that would be the case. If you read the article you will see they have mentioned about new implementing some new algo for bot detection.

Well, it totally depends:

If somebody is just a "script kiddy", using cheap browser emulations and publicly available Python/PHP scripts. And if somebody has no clue about reverse engineering, SSL unpinning, tools like WireShark, traffic inspection, decryption and the disassembling of native code. Then he may be afraid a lot about a "new algorithm for bot detections" and also suffer from it. ;-)

Actually I am looking forward to this cookie removal.

If websites don't use CloudFlare, they won't be effected. Except they or their CDN providers follow this change also.
