Hi,
I own a site buyunlockiphone5.com started last year thinking that iphone 5 would be launched in October 2011.
But unfortunately iphone 4s was launched but still we did the SEO and earned a decent money till January via affiliate.
After that we stopped doing SEO and ranking dropped and since then we have built very less backlinks.
Still the site is PR2 and now the iphone 5 has been launched, will there be any buyers for this site?

yea, you might be able to find a few buyers but it's not going to be easy since this is somewhat of a strange site.
how much money is the site currently making?
that's what matters most.

I wouldn't buy such a domain, since it doesn't even make sense (buy unlocked iphone5).

I would try and monetize it yourself.

Just let the domain drop. Domain has trademark issues and doesn't even make sense.

I don't understand why people register TM domains in the first place - asking for trouble.

There are lots of such sites and are making decent money through it.If it would have a TM issue it would have been taken down long time ago.Its more than an year now, since the domain got registered and is still indexed in google and yahoo.

Another 1 year to go before i can drop the domain.I guess better to do the SEO and make a decent profit like i did last year for iphone 4s.
Also,Flippa has now banned iphone sites but i have seen last year many unlock site went for more than $10k in flippa auction.

Apple will be on your arse in a shot, your theory that they would have done it ages ago is false since the iPhone 5 wasn't out then, now it is they will be on guard

To be honest with you, it is priceless.
Here is why:
1. it is TRADEMARK domain name, nobody would buy it because there is "iPhone" in it which is TM of Apple
2. domain name is too long

Trademark issues.... best to forget about it or milk it by yourself.

nows the best time to sell it to some dope if you can.
