Buying WP theme from festinger

Hi! Moving forward with my ecomm POD site, I checked out some premium wp themes but they turned out to be very costly hence going to proceed with Festinger's vault and purchase a theme from there. Anyone who has started an ecomm site on a wp theme purchased from festinger? Anything that I'm missing in the $5 theme? Also any suggestions on the best theme to buy?

Keep in mind that you're just paying for access to the files. You won't get a license key (and thus won't be able to officially register it) and you won't have access to official support.

If you wanna try a couple different ones, Festinger also offers a $15 plan that gives you access to his full library.

Does it impact in any way if you're not registering it officially. I mean, my store won't be taken down or something

Naw, your store won't be taken down for using an unregistered theme.
No problems there.

However, you will likely have to manually update the theme, be a little behind on updates, etc.
If you're running woocommerce and don't have a registered theme, I would turn off auto-update because you may not always be up to date with the latest woocommerce database.

In the FAQ section, festinger mentions that there'll be auto updates if i am not wrong

You should probably ask @Festinger directly about that, rather then the broad forum.
If that's the case, then you should be good to go.

I am using Festinger's themes and plugins.

And in the past, I have even got AdSense verification on a website using an unregistered theme from Festinger.

You will get automatic updates for subscription.

However, if you purchase a single download, you get lifetime updates. Also, you need to update it manually.

His plugins and themes are great for a new website. And once you start making enough money from a website, purchase from the original developers.

At least that is what I am doing.

@SHAYZO regarding the best theme, I would consider Woodmart - it has also been posted in the download section here.
