Buying typo domain for affiliate

Hello,

i have offer to buy one typo domain, but i can't find any information about visitors, because it's blank page without any affiliate right now. Site is having around 20m visitors/month. Affiliate will be obviously redirected to some blog, than redirected to original site like everybody does to original page.

I don't want to expose site name, but for idea here's example.

Original site: ebay.com
Site which i will buy: e-bay.com

What do you think about visitors of these sites? Do you think it will have traffic at least 10k/month?

Does google track this domains somehow, because obviously i won't be able to beat SEO of original site, but there is chance that someone will write keyword to google e-bay.

What do you think? Price is few thousands USD.

If it's in the format above then definitely overpriced and not worth it.

Not many visitors type in the URL and neither Google might list your site at the top.

When i tried keywordtool it gave me these results , first one is domain name without extension (with extension com, it is 50k searches per month), but i don't know how much can i trust these stats.
And if google will put me in 1st page if they type exact url.
