buying .to domain?

Has anyone had any actual success in buying and using a .to domain? would love to ask you a few questions...

There is nothing special to be said about this domain, just usual TLD. Is used by several trackers and hacking websites because low regulation in this country and is used because it just sounds cool.
If you wanna ask about impact on ranking, that's been discussed many times. Most people say nowadays it is not important but still will suggest you go with a domain like .net .com or .org.

Im not asking about ranking.

Im trying to understand the benefits of .to for websites that host material that is not in alignment with the DMCA.

in addition to the benefits, i was also wondering about the process?

Another membered Tonic as the go-to-place to buy .to domains so was just wanting more info on that please...

Speaking of offshore TLDs, I like the sound of .tk + you can register is anonymously. But as always be careful with "unheard of" registrars, many disappear fast.

You can register .to from tonic.to but you can also check .bz domains too if you want to setup warez etc.
