I have some aged FB accounts that I want to phone verify, to make them safer.

I see many SIM cards on amazon, but I'm not sure if they'll help.
They're listed for < $2, and say UNLOCKED and NO CONTRACT.
I have an unlocked phone, and I only need the SIM card to accept the FB text message (no need for outgoing phone calls and messages).

1. Do you just buy these SIM cards and put them in an unlocked phone and they can receive the text message from FB, or do you have to also buy a $10 plan for it to work? I'm not really sure how they work.

2. My FB accounts are for people that don't live in the US. Do FB check that, and will they ban me for having a US phone number verifying a non-US person? (since it doesn't make sense that in real life a person would have a mobile phone with a US number if he doesn't live in the US)

i can't understand what's ur talking.

let's talk on skype about detail. :)

I buy simcards from my local pound shops (discount stores) so they cost about $1.50 and I verify US accounts although I am in the UK. I verify German ones too without any problem. I dont buy a plan or anything, just the sim. Virgin, Orange and Vodaphone all work fine for me. I use each one and verify 2 accounts and later I remove the number after a few days so the cards can be used again.

Thanks. I don't live in the UK, but do they also sell them online?

Yes I would imagine they are the same. Here we can get sim only sims on Amazon Ebay etc. They are enough to just get the code you need.

I'd have them under the trade descriptions act - that's 50p more than their business name implies :)

You can also grab sim cards for free from most of the carriers. If you go to their websites they all send freebies in the mail.

Depending on the carrier you can grab up to 4 free sims each time

Great. As I mentioned in my OP, I did search amazon, but found many sims, and I'm not sure which one to buy to only get the code... Could you please give a link to amazon (either amazon com or amazon co uk) for a sim like that?

I suggest you to get DID /Virtual phone number instead of physical sim cards

I've had mixed results with them. Sometimes the codes are never sent. Any particular providers that you recommend?

If you refer to US amazon then forget it. The way it works is unless you load any money on it etc you won;t be able to use it. Now if you are in europe yep it usually just needs a SIM card to receive calls/texts so you'd be all set.

I provide physical or ViOP Number.
If you need feel free contact me.
