A few years ago I stumbled onto a marketplace for 'elite' level sites...but I cant remember it :/ It was an auction site for super expensive sites...

Where do people go to sell superior class sites?? I know Flippa has seen a few 100k websites (and sometimes higher) but I want sites that are even more expensive...I'm talking the Gucci of websites...Ones that sell for over 500k

List some of the places where this can happen! Thank you ahead of time :)

It shouldn't happen to be this one should it?

Its not, but thats a great find/share :D
Thanks for putting that up!

the one I found awhile ago was an auction style site, similar to Flippa... Definitely wasnt flippa though...and there were a few brick/mortar businesses listed in there too...

Anywho! Thanks mate!

sedo handles biggies right?

They sure do! I think they mainly deal with big domains though...I was hoping to find some established sites...Well...maybe selling a large established site on SEDO would work out pretty well... :)

I don't know of any sites like this but my suggestion to you would be to look toward websites that concentrate on selling (or auctioning) offline businesses. That's for the simple reason that people seeking to buy an offline business are generally ready to pay much more than those seeking to buy a website (even a high-end website).

There's plenty of busy sites out there where businesses are sold for $1m+, just do a bit of googling and you'll come up with many.

flippa has some high end price lists too. buying from DP is not great idea.

DP is a shithole where people can''t even speak English and have 2 bucks in their pockets

The Warrior forum is also a place to sell, I think Shoemoney has started a market place too.

Why is dp not a good idea?

I have not bought anything from them but these things are useful to know.

I, too, would be interested in the reasoning behind this statement. In my opinion, buying sites over there is a GREAT idea (if you can defend yourself from the hords of scammers, that is) - selling a site over there is what I consider a suicide.

That said, the thread is about high-end sites and you simply won't find (m)any people who are stupid enough to try and sell a high-end site on DP.

Just because it has 100,000 newbies doesn't mean it is a good forum. Its like saying that 4-chan is a good place to sell a site
