Hi,

Does anyone know how I can get a .ru domain without having to give my passport details or business details? Thanks

Interested as well + any Namecheap like registrars for the .ru niche? I would hate to register with the Russian version of GoDaddy.

Best I know of is around $9.95 per .ru domain: http://www.101domain.com/

You can pay with paypal and don't need to provide any documentation.

Any idea if some sort of whois guard available?

Yup, now they have the option to tick "Private Person" during the registration and its free. So, whois info will display "Private Person"
