Been reading up a lot on 'powerlikes'. Most of you already know, but powerlikes are when big accounts like your post. Usually you get 400 - 600 likes from accounts where the smallest has 20k followers.
I tried my hand at a service that's been getting mixed reviews on here, mostly negative. I won't mention it by name. I bought 1 set of Powerlikes for $7 and the likes are supposed to come rolling in as soon as I post. I post, and sure enough - the Powerlikes came rolling in.
Only there's an issue. The accounts giving you Powerlikes are full of DEAD, inactivate, shadowbanned, etc accounts. For example:
And now here's one of the account's posts:
Bottom line: You're not getting 1,000+ likes on a picture and only receiving 2 comments. I've grown accounts with follow/unfollow that get 500 likes and 10 comments. If you see a bunch of 20k, 50k, even 200k accounts in these 'Powerlike' networks, you'll notice none of them have good engagement. And the ones that appear to have good engagement are ALL botted. The same generic 6-7 comments "Nice profile!".... "Dope post!"..... And those 5,000 likes? They're from doing rounds in auto-like groups.
Some of these services want to charge you a monthly fee to use their like/comment groups. What they don't give you is the breakdown of the 600 powerlikes
- 100 of the likes are from the same 5 IG marketers, who've managed to 'game' the system and flood the autolikes groups with their accounts. Their accounts will have similar names sometimes (@yr.luxe, @yrstrength, @yrnews), or different names but same pics/niche.
- 300 of those likes come from accounts that LOOK legit. They'll have 50k, 200k, etc. But they'll never have organic engagement.. 99% botted comments and likes
- 200 of those likes are a mix of the first two. Quite a few people might have 2-3 accounts plugged into these autolike groups. A lot of them might have the follower requirements (1k,20k,50k,100k) but again their accounts have 99% botted engagement in terms of likes/comments.
Conclusion/Final Word: Basically none of these Powerlike networks are any good. I'm not even sure if private ones are. People will sell you Powerlikes using a combination of these sites/services and try to get $220/month out of you. It's the most unethical thing I've ever seen. What's worse is they'll say you need 'viral content' as if you can't check the accounts liking your posts to determine if they're inactive/dead/low quality. No, we don't need viral content. You need to stop scamming people.
Hope this helps anyone that was looking into buying Powerlikes from one of the more popular 'networks'. Just trying to save you guys some money and un-needed headaches.
I'm not saying Powerlikes were always ineffective, as I'm sure there was a 'golden era' for powerlikes a year back or something. But at the moment, my post is the breakdown of what most autolike/powerlike networks consist of. And now we have 100 other people selling Powerlikes because they know it's dead too, so they prey on unsuspecting customers and IG newbies.
