I'd like to have a blog about finance.
I want to pay a web designer from this forum to create the website (I don't have time) and the first articles. After that I'll write personally.

I'll promote the articles on LinkedIn and many more places.

Do you think one of those websites bought here will perform well with adsense?

Finance niche need high budget to get ranked!

The traffic would come from social media and the main thing would be a YouTube channel. The blog is more to have a website for reference and a little profit.

What do you think about SEM niche? Or which niches in your opinion need a low budget to get ranked?

Definitely! It will help you further if the domain is aged and comes with good backlinks.

How old and how many links do you recommend?

I had thought about buying a new domain because I've created a new name for the YouTube channel and I wanted them to be equal.

Do you think I could compensate being a new domain with redirecting an old domain to the new one? Also keeping in mind that dot com is not available and I have to use dot org.

Older the better and go for quality links (don't go for only quantity).

Yes, 301 redirect would do good but make sure the aged expired domain is from the same niche.

.org is a top TLD too and these days, it hardly matters. So, .org will serve your purpose without any issues.

This way the old high valued domain will be destroyed. Also redirecting never passes 100% value. It is done in extreme cases where there are very limited options available.

In your case, you can safely go ahead with the aged domain you purchased and avail the benefits that it provides (like existing backlink profile, domain age, etc.)

He/She wants to use the same brand name as that of the YT channel. I think it's an extreme case only.

Thank you both @SERPhustler and @sageshark .
I haven't bought any domains for now. The YT channel it's new without videos but I found a cool name for it.

What option is better?

A) Having a catchy cool name for the YT channel and new domain with same name. Then redirecting from an old domain to the mew one.

B) Buying a good old domain, using it for the website and adapting the YT channel name to it. Obviously loosing the catchy YT channel name I have now.

temp value already. however, financial operations require a lot of time and budget. You should build content throughout and then post regularly according to a predetermined schedule.. according to a guided route

As discussed earlier, this option is better.

You will have a full control over which You Tube name to choose and find a same domain name for that.

What do you mean by a guided route?

Will do it that way then.

Regarding the kind of website what do you think is better? Something made with Wordpress or html?

Wordpress is highly recommended.

But if you are not comfortable managing the theme, plugins, a bit of code and day to day management of the site then there are other better options available too. Try Wix, Squarespace, Weebly or Medium.

Thanks.
A had a Wordpress around 2020 and I think I can handle the day to day activities. The most tedious part it's the creation but that I'll outsource it.

So basically the plan now it's the following:
1. I'll keep the YT name and buy a domain for it. I'll buy an old domain to redirect.
2. I'll look for a web designer to create a wordpress site.
3. Then I'll start creating content and promoting.

What kind of content you gonna upload on youtube? Did your social media pages are ready?

Every niche that has low competition, can be rank in low budget.

It'll be about finance. Stuff I learnt during my studies. I know there's high competition in there. But I have a lot of resources to generate content.

My social media pages aren't ready yet. I have for now a LinkedIn account with 5K followers and the YouTube channel created.
I still need to set up properly Facebook joining groups, Instagram, Twitter, etc.

Which niches do you suggest to rank with a low budget?

If you upload quality content and do proper SEO, then it will perform well for Adsense. The AdSense performance also depends on niches. So try to choose the right niche for Adsense.

Your content must be high-quality, original, and attract an audience.
