Hi guys i finally decide to start my own page after years of experience on videos, i want to buy a domain i find go daddy with 1.5$ first year and then 18$ per year , i have two questions should i buy 6$ protection from my name and address? and second can i use it with word press free band width or i must buy and bandwidth ? this is important for it is my first steps i don't want to start bad thank you hearing proposals from the experts !

First word of advice. You're worrying to much about something you shouldn't... There's nothing wrong or right about purchasing domain... Privacy protection something you should consider something for yourself. I prefer to get it but as far as I'm concern namecheap that I use for all of my domains is providing it for free... I recently got free domain from bluehost and decided to go really cheap on it and not take it... Ended up having my phone bombarded by a lot of people who scraped my phone from the internet... SO definately worth it... In terms of registrar... just register anywhere you want you can always transfer it out but it doesn't really affect performance of your page whichever route you decide to go..

thank you so much for your reply , if i buy hosting from namecheap it will do the job? i mean it is ok

Please let me give you my 0.02$. Godaddy is very popular but not the best-reviewed registrar.

If you were serious about it, you should have whois protection. Alternatively, namecheap and namesilo already provide whois protection. However, these registrars are as cheap as Godaddy. Godaddy first year is cheap but then they will get your money on renewals.

On the other hand, namesilo and namecheap keep the same price every year and free whois included.

Good luck,

I've heard it is decent. The bullet proof shared hosting I would always suggest is siteground. I also purchased bluehost since it was dirt cheap this black Friday and so far it pleasantly surprises me... Another option I like to use is AWS for it's security... But it is not necessarily the cheapest option and is more complex for the novice... I would just go ahead with both options I mention if I were you.

The best company to use is 1&1 internet. Most likely you will get your domain for $1 for the first year. They are the best hands down. Also the domain gets registered privately for free.

If you want to buy privacy , buy your domain name from namecheap , they offer the privacy garde for free

You should use GoDaddy deutchland. 0.98$ .com domain for 1 year

The most common thing to do with domain registrations is

1. Register it anywhere cheap (I literally have bought from more than 6 registrars all at less than 2 bucks for 1st year)
2. After 60 days holding period, transfer it to your favourite registrar (my favourite is porkbun = 8.6$/year + free privacy)

NameCheap gives you the "Whois" protection for free. They also have pretty cheap SSL.
I have had a lot of luck with HostGator for hosting services and used them for years. Yes, they offer an affiliate program, but I am not a member. Just passing on my experience with them. Good prices and have never gone down on me other than scheduled maintenance.
