Yes, but creating high-quality content is not a guarantee either. There are many unsuccessful, good content channels out there.
It requires lots of time, patience and work with no reward in the initial stage.
There are ways to start faster than going full white hat. And this forum is all about that.

I am about to buy YT channel. If channel is monetized with 2k subs, 1k views etc in games category. When I start to upload finance crypto vids. Will I loose subs, monetized status?

If you want to create a crypto channel, buy a crypto channel (or at least a finance channel, something related)
