Hello guys

So I created a little website targeting an affiliate offer on a brand-new domain. Nothing crazy, just built as I usually do, but this time, I would like to try to buy links to see how it works, however, I have a couple concerns about those:

- My site is in French and obviously targeting French market, should I look into link from "french" site?
- I'm not willing to put hundreds in links on this experiment, what's the bare minimum to move the needle? That might be a tricky question, but I'm looking for a price range

That might be some noob question lol, anyway, thanks for giving your attention! :)

You can start by building a few free links yourself, like profile links on high authority websites or a couple of targeted forum posts on same niche forums. That would make it cheaper than cheap, it would be free.

You can get english links for french websites, of course french backlinks work better but they are pretty hard to find

Got you, will look into it, thanks for getting back!

The backinlinks in English will work .. the French market is less competitive, perhaps it does not need a lot of links.
If you manually search for niches in frences, you can get good links there. look how others are doing

I have a competitor that bought a bunch of spammy links, like 10K, pretty sure it's doing everything but boosting him!

of course French links will move your needle fast. But to fit your budget, first you can generate free profile links or forums.. Next you can buy English niche links..

You should look for same niche links, may it be in any language.

If you find your top competitors sending like huge number links, you might also want to do the same.

Just my 0.02$

His links are 100% spammy, shit website, absolutely non-relevant, thanks for your 2 cents tho!

Still he/she must be getting good traffic if it is one of your top competitors, doesn't matter if his/her site is shitty or shiny. That was my point!

I'll keep a 70%-80% ratio of Top tier backlinks in French and others in English and other languages. Tier 2 and Tier 3 would be with global languages most likely something like a gsa ser blast without a language preference.

I'm talking about their links, all shitty websites, the thing is that he's the only one targeting a lot of keywords, so he basically gives Google no choice than to rank him! Thanks anyway! :)

yeah I was thinking about that! Will try to find those french links, even tho they're usually more expensive than global :)
