Ok, I have this dilemma. I like the prices on the polos etc. etc. of dropshipped products. I want to buy from myself. Is this a stupid Idea as it creates a link between me and the site. I want to buy new products every week.

Sorry, I didnt put this clear enough. I run a Dropshipped Product e-store. I dropship products from China etc. etc. I want to buy products from my own e-store, but I dont want to because it would create a link between me and the store. Is this just being paranoid? I dont want a reason for a connection to the estore to appear.

I dont understand the problem. Is it illegal to have a e-store and sell dropshipped items?

your concerned cos there copies/fake designer clothing like ralph lauren... is that what you mean?

Why the hell are you wanting to buy from your own store lol? A customer buys something from your store then you go to your suppliers site and place the order and send it to their address. Why not just go place an order for yourself wherever you're getting the goods from?

Yes, but they are high quality. I dont want to be linked to the store.

but its ok for your buyers to get the stuff! lol j/k

if your that worried get someone else to purchase the stuff for you... your gran, your gf, your mum, etc :)

or you could always just shop at belks mens store! lol i just bought a ton of ralph lauren stuff they had a 50% off there 50% marked down prices saved like $200! :)

if it's your site, just edit the db gracefully after the transaction. sorry if this does not apply (db managed by 3rd party), but I would then think twice if I want to do business FOR them.

i would probably have placed an order to begin with to see the type of merchandise/packaging your customers are receiving....
