Ok so im in the process of making a mixtape on the side as a "hobby"and you know how blackhatworld LOVES monetizing their hobbies (as do I) What i was thinking was, uploading on datpiff and promoting and eh (buying) about 100k views and 50k downloads. make a twitter account and gain around 100k followers, i hate facebook, maybe myspace and i dont like instagram, but anyway im gonna take a shot in the dark here and hopefully someone will see my talent and ill go somewhere with it. This is NOT about money i rap for fun and for my crazy competetive personality. Anyway im going to use what I learn here to make a website and promote my self on the internet and offline, i feel if i put enough time in i can do something big.

Sure you could use the boost but if you really suck, no one's gona listen to you no matter how many views or downloads you have.

Unless you have an insane amount of talent, not saying you don't, it will be very hard to get recognized. You will have to put a lot of time and a lot of money to get yourself out there through the ways you have presented.

Should you get your 15 minutes, milk it for every dollar and save every cent, because it can be all gone quicker than it came. And if you do make it, kill Justin Bieber.

Buying fame is the best way to damage your reputation.

You can buy targeted "fame" and let them choose if they wanna follow you or not.
If you want to try the "fake views way" though make sure to keep it real.

Mix both.

Yea i havent given this much thought its a fairly new hobby to me but it keeps me out of trouble i dont really care about the money or "fame" i just wanted to get real opinions out of you guys(; but mostly i do it to be original and show my emotions without being soft.

Buying fame will bring you down more than you can believe it. You'll loose even the won reputation, just try to work more and harder
