buying domain with celebrity name on it?

Hi,

I stumbled across domain that has a famous person name on it that has pages on at least ig, facebook and youtube. over 6m users in total on those platforms.
Could there be some kind of consequences if I bought that and filled it with content that is related to that niche? I would'n use that persons data in anyway from other pages.

I’d recommend not doing that. However, if you’re headset on doing it, you will want to get DMCA ignored domain regristrar and hosting. This is commonly referred to as Bulletproof hosting. There’s a couple companies like that still around but I’m not gonna lost them here.

A quick Google/Reddit search will point you in the right direction.

That is on godaddy auction. I will send message to that person and ask if his is interested in collaborating on website management. I really don't understand why its on auction as that link is everywhere on her sites.

Most of the time nothing happens with domains on those scenarios, however if that person claim to the registrar youll surely loose such domain name.
