So I am trying to buy a domain which will be my company name and it is currently expired and is of no value to anybody other than me. Its at Go daddy auction and has no bids.

There are a few days left of the auction what will happen when it ends, will it be relisted or will I be able to buy it like any other domain for a few dollars.

Im asking this because I was going to watch or bid on the auction and Godaddy wants me to pay to signup for Godaddy auctions just wondering if this is necessary

if the domain name has no PR or significant backlinks, then no one will bid on it. But I guess when a domain name gets expired, Godaddy renews it then puts it on auction.

the domain has no PR and no backlinks and targets no KWs. I can buy it for the $5 registration fee + be the only bid on it for $12 but just wanted to know what happens after a few days when nobody buys it?

Can I buy it with one of the $1 Godaddy coupons or should i just do the auction because it does have some age, or does it not lose its age?

Just not very knowledgable with domain buying so would like to know what is best.

You can buy it on the auction for $5 + one year renewing expenses. But if you let it expire it will lose the age. I think it will be better for you to buy it on the auction. Age of a site is always welcome :)

Guess im going to go put my bid in
