buying damaged blackberries and replacing housing

i got a connection to wholesale OEM housing for all types of blackberries. they are dirt cheap.


i had an idea come up of buying those heavily used blackberries with lots of scratches, unlocking them and replacing the housing and then selling them as 10/10 condition.

Any thoughts?

not as easy as it sounds, as youll have to replace the LENS as well to make it 10/10 and even then you cant resell it as more than a level 1 refurb. Many berrys lens are directly glued to lcd, and replacing LCD to top off the refurb would up your costs... example being a bold 9700 LCD wholesale is no less than 65 dollars, up to 75 dollars for version 002/111

any cheaper on the LCDs and you run into problems with improper lens placement, making case fit awkwardly when reassembling the phone.. just a heads up
