Hello,

Have any of you already purchased backlinks from another ecommerce website in your niche ?

I have myself an ecommerce website and I've found a website on a netlinking platform that doesn't rank on the same keywords as me (so not a direct competitor) but is almost in the same niche as me.

Is it a good idea to receive a backlink from this kind of website? Or do you recommend backlinks from blogs and informational sites instead?

Thanks

It is always good to get links on site from the same niche (or near same nice of related niche) (IF THEY RANK WELL)!

Well, if the site belongs to your similar niche then it will be good to secure a link from them.

But I wonder if that is an ecommerce site and even though they rank for different keywords, the niche is the same so in a way it makes them your competitor. So why would a competitor sell or give a link to another competitor?

Yes, it's quite strange I agree. I will contact the webmaster to be sure if a link to my website is okay

as long as its a quality link, you should be ok

No problem with that buddy. You already share the same niche so, it will be even better to have a diversified link.

It is a good idea for diversification. The impact will depend on authority of ecommerce website.

Good idea. Any strong ecommrece brand or site for that matter has backlinks.

Mostly ecommerce owners don't provde any guest post. But if you can get a change just grabe it. because ecommerce website has his own bran reputaion so taking guest post from a supper idea.

Most of the e-commerce sites don't allow their competitors to place links on their sites, but sure, it will benefit your website from an SEO perspective.

Good but a lot of chance to get it deleted soon or later

If ecommerce provide Local service I mean any target area you can ignore them. at other hand those who provide international service they have already bran value you can take backlinks from them and its works like dream. As my experiance ecommerce backlinks is very good for any niche.

Securing backlinks from a related e-commerce site can be beneficial, especially if it’s not a direct competitor but within the same niche (buy I would still buy even from a competitor as well). However, diversification is key. Mix it up with links from blogs and informational sites to maintain a natural and diverse backlink profile. But yeah - go ahead. It's 100% best option you can test
