Buying backlinks for redirect domain to increase traffic?

I want to buy a domain for movie streaming that is similar to "123movies" for example "123movieshdstream". Then I'm planning to re-direct the domain to my existing movie streaming website, and buying backlinks for the re-direct domain.

The reason is 123movies having a high search result (I know it is competitive) compare to my existing website. I want to ask if I buy backlinks for the new domain and re-direct it to my existing website, will it help to increase traffic / SEO to my existing website?

My concern is if I buy backlinks for the re-direct domain without a content (website), Google probably not indexing the domain.

Please help.

If i use 301.. redirect domain B to domain A (existing website), can visitors access the website from both domain A and B?

Yes if both are hosted otherwise they will get to domain A from links
