Buying backlinks and using buffer sites

I have been away from SEO for a couple years, before I use to have alot of success buying high PR backlinks but I know alot has changed in last 2 years. ... What I am considering doing is buying about 100 high PR links (all between 3-6) and having them drip feed links to 10 different web 2.0 buffer sites, using different anchor text than what is on my money site-header tags. This is something I only plan to do for a few months until I can build up some good links that I am not buying. Not trying to churn and burn. Looking for feedback on others success or failure with this method. Also recommendation on where to buy good high PR links. Thanks in advance

As long as the high PR links aren't crappy (ie SAPE, etc) why not just send it directly to the money site?

If they are lower quality then you don't need to drip feed them to the buffer sites.

I was looking at a seller on BHW Marketplace and the links are SAPE which is why I wanted to go the buffer site route. Any suggestions on where to look for high PR links?

The buffer site route is, in my opinion, actually a good way to go. Make some high quality web 2.0's with a couple articles on each to add authority, then point to money site. Then send a few high pr quality links with your exact match anchor text, then diversify your anchors with more general links from diversified sources. Make it look natural, drip feeding is always good. There's tons of places in the marketplace for high pr links. Make sure they're high quality though (for main anchor text), the others (which will make up the vast majority of your links) don't need to be as good - just don't spam though.

Sape still works, and works well. Sape links are behind most of my top rankings
There are two 'big' sellers of sape links in the BST's - tommy, and seolutions. I've tried tommy, and his customer service is great and links are always delivered, and just recently tried seolutions, but it's too early to form an opinion, except that thus far they've been responsive and delivered what they said they'd deliver, on time.

Best bet is to read through the feedback in the threads

Quick question, do you use them to rank your churn & burn sites or the ones that are long term?
