buying android smartphones in bulk

hi there as the Titel says I am looking to buy smartphones in bulk.

because i have been looking at money making on smartphones, with checkpoints but if you let one smartphone play ads all day you will earn ca $0.5. but imagine you have 100 of them now you can earn $50 each day

so the requirement of the phone is

• be able to turn on
• connect to wifi
• and use apps checkpoints to watch ads

other than that i don't care. i must be cheap for a am not willing to spend $100+ each phone, so the cheaper the better

I do some programming in android and Java for which i use the free tool "android studio". In order to test the functionality of apps, they are loaded onto android virtual machines, which apparently function exactly as android devices in various configurations.

I wonder if you could use 100 virtual devices instead of physical devices. You would need a beefy computer though. Mine slowed down when i opened two virtual phones.
